Authority & Integrity

There are limits to all things — and those limits are determined by the Word of God.
This is why we must study the Word carefully, so we know how to respond to challenges in the world and in our personal lives.
God Himself has established authority. This includes authority in the family, the church, and the government. These systems exist to bring order and protection.
Of course, we can all think of examples where authority has been abused — where it no longer protects but harms, or where it acts against the Word of God. In those moments, believers are called to use their voices and influence to speak truth, seek justice, and teach others when the Word is being misused or taken out of context.
Knowing God’s character is essential. It keeps us from being misled when Scripture is twisted to control or oppress. Ultimately, God’s Word is the highest authority, and we must reflect that truth in how we live — especially as we raise children who will one day become government workers , church leaders, and heads of the family.
