Remember how Jesus died for our weaknesses. With that same energy, we should bear the weaknesses of our fellow Christians. Let us learn to tolerate much more than we currently do.
He took on the chastisement of our peace, and yet we struggle to endure even mild inconveniences from others. Yes, it’s important to remind and educate one another about what the Bible teaches—but we must do so with a gentle hand, not a condemning or judgmental spirit. God alone is the true Judge, and we all fall short of His glory.
When we put aside our differences and judgmental tendencies, we remove distractions that divide the body of Christ. In unity, we can focus on lifting up His name and bringing people closer to Him—rather than pushing them away because of our personal hang-ups.
Let us die to ourselves—especially when it comes to things that don’t really matter—and come together in unity to praise God and glorify His name. It’s not enough to simply learn about God’s instructions; our lives must be transformed into thinking, being, and doing like Jesus.
